ABOUT ME
I'm an Assistant Professor of Biology in Natural Sciences Department at Piedmont College. I'm currently teaching General Biology and Invertebrate Zoology. My research focuses on the taxonomy and systematics of the Halonoproctidae, or trapdoor spiders, a poorly understood group with a world wide distribution. In my spare time I crochet and teach yoga and am always on the lookout for opportunities to participate in science outreach and sharing science knowledge with the public.
